Let’s All Be Brave with Annie Downs

Sometimes, there are themes released throughout the earth.  And there seems to be a common chanting for BRAVERY.

UnknownKaty Perry wants us to Roar.

Sara Barellais wants us to be Brave.

Amanda Cook through Bethel Music declared that God had something to do with bravery with her song You Make Me Brave.

And now, my beautiful friend Annie Downs is giving us some teaching to walk us into the bravery we're all longing for with her new book Let's All Be Brave, released yesterday.

I'd always admired Annie from afar, watching how she'd take girls under her wings to pour into them, how loyal she was to ministry, how creative……and how hilarious.  If you ever get the chance to hear Annie speak, she'll definitely have your sides hurting from laughter.  I had the opportunity to spend quality time with miss Annie in Hawaii at the Bloom Conference this year, and I must say, the girl quickly became one of my favorites.

She practices what she preaches.  And she's got some really important things to preach.

If you struggle with fear, in any capacity, this book is for you.  (Which means, this book is for all of us).  And I can't think of a greater coach than Annie to cheer us on as we learn to walk on water.

So friends, join me.  And Let's All Be Brave.

xx,

I was thinking about the theme of bravery in music last night after the release of Moriah Peter’s new album “Brave.” So funny that both Christian artists and secular artists are thinking (and singing) about the same thing 🙂

“I had planned to end my life, but chose to give it one last shot and signed up for the Master Heart Course. I finally found what I was looking for. My life has changed in ways I could never could put into words, being healed far beyond what I could imagine. I have a long way to go, but this course literally saved my life..”
