When my body began showing signs of labor the morning of March 5, there were 5 girls that I texted to let know that my Goldie was coming.
But the very next text to those same girls around noon was a text I never imagined I'd ever have to write……”She's gone. My Goldie didn't make it. She's gone.”
For the next 24 hours, as my heart and head sailed the seas of the unbelievable extremes that accompany tragic death, there were 10 friends who just showed up on our doorstep.
10 friends who knew no one should ever walk through this alone.
10 friends who dropped responsibilities in their own whirlwind lives to just sit next to us and let us cry….to hold our hands….wipe our tears….and just be.
10 people who are more than friends….they're family.
For life.
These two are part of that family, and I couldn't be more proud of them. You will never meet more genuine, loving, caring, stunningly beautiful people—and the beauty of their hearts keeps on spilling out into the beauty of their music.
If you're not already a fan, you're about to be.
xx,
PS. And if you didn't get the opportunity to take my little survey to help with some upcoming decisions that we're making, would you mind taking it now?
I love these two so much. And I especially love the song and this video!
I love Johnnyswim. So happy you pointed me to them.
Enjoyed their singing. Thanks.
