Empty Arms

Every Mother's Day, most pastors stand on the stage and invite the mothers in the room to stand. And as they do, there's an entire group of women holding back sobs, screaming on the inside as their empty arms feel especially empty one day a year. ???? They are the women who have felt the cramping and bleeding that signals an end to life in their womb through miscarriage. ???? They're the women who have gone month after month peering nervously over a pregnancy test, begging it to reveal signs of life….but it never does. ???? They're the women who have buried their children far too soon, a reality no mother should ever face. ???? They're the single women who dream of having a family, and yet find that life led down an unexpected path. ????And friends, they're also the women who might have made a choice to end life and have carried the weight of that decision like a ton of bricks, trying to outrun the shame. ???? This Mother's Day, please include them in your recognition, your carnation bouquets and your gifts. Please recognize their mother-heart cries as they grieve their losses, some still longing to join our Mother's Day club. We hear you. We see you. We include you. You are one of us, and as we hold our babies close this Sunday, we also hold your pain close to our hearts. ❤ #MothersDay #miscarriage#infertility #childloss #abortion

“I had planned to end my life, but chose to give it one last shot and signed up for the Master Heart Course. I finally found what I was looking for. My life has changed in ways I could never could put into words, being healed far beyond what I could imagine. I have a long way to go, but this course literally saved my life..”
