In the beginning….

God seemed to create Xanga, then Myspace, then Facebook, then Blogspot, then Twitter….

And now Tumblr.

I'm up for a new way to blog—especially if it gets me connected with my beautiful online friends once again.  (:

The book is FINISHED.  (jump up and down, dance like a crazy-mad woman, scream at the top of my lungs).  I'm in the last stages of passing it back and forth between my editor, making the last-minute changes, getting the cover done from my photo shoot, the endorsement/liners in, the website up, meeting with PR peeps, and making it as easy as possible for you guys to get your hands on it.

I know a lot of you have been waiting for this book for a long time—and my beautiful friends and blog readers—this book is most definitely dedicated to you.

The thousands of emails I received—the Facebook and Myspace messages—sharing your hearts, your struggles, your victories, and your stories was more than overwhelming.  I had no idea that a little blog would touch so many lives, bringing me to find what I believe to be my life purpose: this book that I believe will help heal the heart-cries of so many, and the album that goes with it.

The final title:  ”God Loves Ugly.”  The bi-line:  …& Love Makes Beautiful.

For those of you who read my blog and found your hearts being changed and healed, get yourselves ready.  I went deep, and revealed all in hopes of shedding light on the one thing all of us have battled and deserve to be free from:  insecurity, pain, fear, depression, and possibly even addiction.  I've never been so proud of anything in my entire life.  I feel like I've actually birthed my first child.

The website will be up in the next couple of weeks, and pre-order sales will begin.  The first 1,000 pre-orders will get a signed copy of the book, so make sure you watch out for my tweet that the website has actually launched.  The book will ship world-wide, so don't worry about that.  I know pain doesn't discriminate to certain countries or people groups—we'll find a way to get it to you.

I'm switching my Blogging over from www.ChristaBlack.Blogspot.com to this Tumblr site, which will show up on the homepage of my webpage: www.ChristaBlack.com.  I'll be blogging regularly again now that my book is finished.  Just wanted to focus ALL my creative energy on the book, so now that it's headed to print soon, I'll begin writing again.  Once the book gets out, I'll have an ‘Ask Christa' section where you can email in your questions, and a place to post your stories and testimonies of how the book has brought you into areas of freedom and victory in your own lives.

Studhubs has put on Christmas Music, making it almost impossible to keep writing.  Hot Chocolate is calling my name….

Love you all—pray for you always.

Your cheerleader and friend,

Big Sista Christa  xx

“I had planned to end my life, but chose to give it one last shot and signed up for the Master Heart Course. I finally found what I was looking for. My life has changed in ways I could never could put into words, being healed far beyond what I could imagine. I have a long way to go, but this course literally saved my life..”
